In 1882, a young priest in New Haven, Connecticut found many young Catholic families in financial disaster when the head of the household died. He created a group of men to donate money and provide for these families until they were able to care for themselves. This priest is named Father Michael J. McGivney and he is the founder of the Knights of Columbus. That story is how we were created and now over 125 years later, we have become the largest fraternal charity organization in the world. More importantly, we still take care of Catholic families in the vision of our founder. My name is Victor MacLaughlin; I am an insurance agent for the Knights of Columbus. I share in the same beliefs to take care of the Catholic family in Fr. McGivney’s vision. As of today, we are only one of two insurance companies with AAA and A++ ratings by Standard & Poor and A.M. Best. During this recent financial downturn, the Knights of Columbus kept their lofty ratings while other insurance companies failed to keep theirs. Showing how we protect our portfolio is consistent to how we protect your family. We are a non-profit Catholic organization. The Knights of Columbus feature products to help protect your family, your retirement, your financial plan. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about how we can take care of your family in Fr. McGivney’s vision the way we have over 125 years for over 1.6 million members worldwide.
